DANCERS FACE THE CHOP!

Sam Stokes and Becks White face the chop

2 local Hereford dancers are facing the chop – from their hairdressers that is.  Samantha Stokes and Starlight’s own Rebecca White will be going under the scissors on the 12th of the 12th of the 12th (Wednesday December 12th 2012) and having at least 8” each cut off their locks. Their hair donations will then go to the Little Princess Trust, a charity close to both their hearts, to form part of one wig for boys and girls across the UK and Ireland that have sadly lost their own hair through cancer treatment.

Sam comments “Both Becks and I have been inspired by this charity since it started and we wanted to do something personally to help out. Loosing your hair must be such a horrific experience to go through as a child, by having ours cut we can help a child cope with this trauma and the money donated will enable Little Princess Trust to carry on the fantastic work they do.”

As each wig costs around £350 they also want to raise as much money as possible for the charity so are hosting a fun-draising evening as well!

They will be holding a CHRISTMAS BONANZA on Wednesday 12TH DECEMBER 2012 at Hereford Musical Theatre Company Hall, 148 Whitecross Road Hereford.

The evening will kick off with a Zumba class at 6pm and the FANCY DRESS theme will be Christmas PINK, there will be a prize to the best dressed! Zumba is £4 and ALL of this money will go to the charity.

Then at 7pm the doors will open (FREE ENTRY) to gift & cake stalls for attendees to grab a Christmas bargain, a bite to eat and a drink from the bar! It will be a real social, charitable night!

If you can’t make the evening then please show your support by sponsoring Sam and Becks at their JUST GIVING PAGE www.justgiving.com/Samantha-Stokes0.
