LET’S DANCE FOR COMIC RELIEF

JOIN STARLIGHT AND DO SOMETHING FUNNY FOR MONEY

With Comic Relief approaching we wanted to spread some charitable cheer to Herefordshire & get people fit and dancing across the county!

Our idea is on Red Nose Day (Friday 15th March) and/or the week commencing Monday 11th March to visit various companies & schools across Herefordshire teaching groups of people a simple, but fun Bollywood dance to “Jai Ho” (from Slumdog Millionaire). We have taught this dance in many of our Zumba classes and everyone loves it so we thought why not share the fun and do something funny for money!

It really doesn’t matter on your sex, age or ability anyone can get involved. We would envisage each session taking no more than 15-20 minutes.

If you know of any companies or schools that may like to get involved do let us know. The Hereford Times are willing to take pictures during the week so would be a great PR stunt too and as we go we’ll be shaking our fundraising buckets in front of the crowds in the hope of getting some pennies or pounds for Comic Relief for our efforts.

We will also be donating 10% of our takings from all our Zumba classes to Comic Relief during this week so if you’d like to join us and dress up Bollywood style we’ll be handing out a free dance class to the best dressed!
