TAP ROADSHOW HITS THE HEADLINES!

CALL FOR TAP DANCERS!

The Starlight Dance Company has been on a Tap dancing roadshow, taking workshops in various schools around Herefordshire to raise funds for BBC Children in Need and in an attempt to break a Guinness world record.

They visited St Mary’s Primary School, Fownhope, Stretton Sugwas CofE Academy, St James Primary School and Pencombe CE Primary School to drum up interest in the nationwide Tapathon to be held on Sunday 15th November.

Starlight Instructor Rebecca White comments “There needs to be 13,000 nationwide tap dancing at the same time, 1pm, on 15th November for it to be a World record and with all the funds raised going to Children in Need we thought it would be great to get out to Herefordshire schools to give pupils a taste of this fun, fundraising event.”
